Did you mean Hot Pot? I quite like Bu Dao Weng Hot Pot and they have couple of branches in the city. Try the one at iSquare in TST which got fantastic view. http://www.bdw.com.hk

As for dim sum, there are lots of choices around. 老點 dim sum in Mong Kok is good. Location is near the East railway at G/F, Lisa House, 12-14 Yim Po Fong Street, Mong Kok

Budaoweng is quite expensive and it is a la cart must over budget $150. Hot pot in HK is not as cheap as before, $150/person can only eat so-so quality, eg. little sheep. Or try Tao Heung, but also a la cart. See total how many people u have, more people more cheap for a la cart hot pot. If only 2 then buffet style is cheaper.

But HK style da bin lo is mainly eat beef, Japan shabushabu also mainly beef.

Little Sheep is buffet style, include many food, beef, lamb (famous for lamb), pork, chicken, fish slices, different meat balls (fish balls, squid balls, pork balls, beef balls, cheese balls etc), shrimps, vegetable, tofu.... price around your budget, but don't expect too much for buffet hot pot, quality and service always so-so only.

U don eat beef better choose a la cart, because you can choose the food u eat with better quality. Or try chicken hot pot, now quite hit in hk. This chicken pot is new open but people said not bad: JKJ hot pot 尚上下夏 on 23 Hillwood road, TST, also a la carte style.
