Dear huizhi, please read my comments and suggestions in the quote below :

Dear Northasian,

I know it is a bit earlier to ask for your help on our May 5D4N itinerary, but just want to make it done faster.. Hehe, coz we are so excited and it is our first trip to Hong Kong. Hope it will be a memorable trip to us (my husband and I)

Actually not too early la... better plan it earlier than later~!

I actually used some of the members' planned itinerary and make it as ours.. But we are still not so sure on some of the things that we planned. Please help us and do comment on our 5D4N Hong Kong Itinerary:-

Day 1 (Saturday)

6.00am - 7.00am Breakfast @ LCCT

7.00am - 11.05am LCCT to Hong Kong International Airport via Air Asia

12.30pm - 1.30pm Lunch @ Tsui Wah Restauran

1.30pm - 2.00pm Check In Hotel (Yau Ma Tei)

2.30pm - 4.00pm Shopping around (Langham Place, Fa Yuen St, Mongkok and etc)

4.00pm - 4.30pm Afternoon Tea @ Honeymoon Dessert

4.30pm - 6.30pm Continue Shopping

6.30pm - 7.30pm Dinner @ Tao Heung Chinese Restaurant

7.30pm - 8.00pm Avenue of Stars

8.00pm - 8.20pm Symphony of Lights

8.30pm - 9.30pm Pacific Coffee Company

9.30pm - 10.30pm Charlie Brown Cafe Coffee after coffee?? You aren't afraid of sleepless nite?

10.30pm - 11.30pm Back to Hotel

Actually today's plan is great.

Day 2 (Sunday)

7.30am - 8.30am Breakfast @ Praise House Congee & Noodle Cuisine (Which one do u highly recommend? thanks)

OR

7.30am - 8.30am Breakfast @ Nathan Congee and Noodle

I haven't heard of Nathan Congee & Noodle, so can't comment about it... For Praise House, I think it's quite nice with both good food quality & environment. But I'm not sure if they open that early, maybe you can try Ocean Empire instead? I've just posted a review on it in my blog, please check it out if you're interested~ :)

8.30am - 12.30pm Ocean Park HKD250

12.30pm - 1.00pm Lunch in the Ocean Park

1.00pm - 4.00pm Ocean Park

4.00pm - 7.00pm The Peak Tower, Clock Tower, Space Museum, Art Museum, Cultural Centre, Heritage 1881, Harbour City & Ocean Terminal and Sky Terrace (Could we go so many places during these three hours? Please comment)

Hm... sorry but I've to say this part of your planning is a bit... messy.. :P Please note that Clock Tower, Space Museum, Art Museum, Cultural Centre, Heritage 1881, Harbour City & Ocean Termail are all located in Tsim Sha Tsui, it's IMPOSSIBLE for you to go there and then back to The Peak again for dinner & the wax museum!! It's better you slot them in your Day 1 if time available, otherwise you may have to give up those museum visits 'coz they use to close early.

7.00pm - 8.00pm Dinner at the Peak (Do you know which restaurant at the Peak area is nice? Local HK food or Western or Japanese Cuisine)

There are quite a few nice resto at The Peak, but just FYI, the price would be at the high side. I personally think Cafe Deco is quite nice. You can have a window side table if you're lucky, or just to call earlier to check if they can reserve it for you. I don't recommend to have local HK food at The Peak, 'coz there are A LOT more better choices down hill in the city, and cost cheaper than those at The Peak.

8.00pm - 10.00pm Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

10.00pm - 11.00pm Lan Kwai Fong

11.00pm - 12.00pm Central Mid-Level Escalator

Just remind you that the escalator will only be going up-hill at that time... so it would not be appropriate to take during your planned time. Actually it's nothing special, just a series of ordinary escalator linked with some footbridges to mid-level area... it's not 1 very very long escalator going up/down the hill.... Suggest you to skip it and better save time for going back to hotel for rest earlier...

12.00pm - 1.00am Lucky Dessert

Day 3 (Monday)

7.30am - 8.30am Breakfast @ Kam Wah Café

8.30am - 7.00pm Disneyland

7.00pm - 8.00pm Dinner @ Australia Dairy Company

8.00pm - 9.00pm Supper @ Mcdonald's McCafe

9.00pm - 11.00pm Shopping @ Harbour City & I Square

Shops inside Harbour City & iSquare are mainly international big brands, they use to close early at 9pm... so suggest you to visit Temple Street instead... or some shopping streets in Tsim Sha Tsui like Graville Road, Haiphong Road...etc.

11.00pm - 12.00pm Dessert @ Hui Lau San

Day 4 (Tuesday)

7.00am - 7.30am Breakfast @ Lin Heung Tea House

7.30am - 8.00am Sheung Wan Cotaijet Station (Which place to board the ferry to Macau better? Sheung Wan or Tsim Tsa Tsui and does it near to our hotel located in Yau Ma Tei)

If you plan to have break at Lin Heung, of coz choose to depart at Sheung Wan la... 'coz Lin Heung is on HK Island. It's no point going back to Tsim Sha Tsui to depart.

8.30am - 9.30am Breakfast @ Macau (or shall we have breakfast before we head to Macau?)

Breakfast again?? Anyway, depends on you hungry or not lor... hehehee...

9.30am - 12.30pm The Grand Canal Shoppes

12.30pm - 1.30pm Lunch @ Fatburger

1.30pm - 3.00pm Bryan Berg Cardstacker & Manchester United Experience Store

3.00pm - 3.30pm Afternoon Tea @ Cafe Tai Lei Loi Kei

3.30pm - 6.30pm Lord Stow’s Bakery at Coloane, St Paul Cathedral

6.30pm - 7.30pm Dinner @ Macau (or we better take dinner when we back to Hong Kong? Any restaurant would you recommend to us?)

I would suggest you to take dinner in Macau... 'coz you only spend a day trip there, why not stay a bit longer and have a dinner there as well? Try some famous Portugese Restaurants there la~ but I can't tell which one is good 'coz I seldom go to Macau... :P

7.30pm - 8.30pm Back to Tsim Sha Tsui

Believe me, you won't be coming back so early... 'coz it's not enough time to explore Macau if coming back at this time~!

8.30pm - 10.00pm Shopping @ K11 China Hong Kong City & The One

Slot them in another day if you plan to stay longer in Macau..

10.00pm - 11.00pm Dessert @ 5-Generation Dessert Specialist

Day 5 (Wednesday)

8.30am - 9.30am Breakfast @ Mido Cafe

9.30am - 12.30pm Tung Chung Citygate Outlet Mall & Ngong Ping 360 (Rent the locker @ Citygate to put down our luggage)

12.30pm - 1.30pm Lunch @ Tung Chung Citygate Outlet Mall

1.30pm - 3.30pm Clock Tower, Hong Kong Museum of History, Tung Chung Citygate Outlet Mall (Collect our luggage in Tung Chung)

You got mixed up again........ Clock Tower & HK Museum of History is at Tsim Sha Tsui, they are NOT just everywhere that you can reach from any part of HK! Visit Clock Tower on your Day 1 when visiting Avenue of Stars, 'coz it's just next to Avenue of Stars.

3.30pm - 4.00pm Head to Hong Kong International Airport and Check In

5.00pm - 5.30pm Early Dinner @ Chao Inn in T2

6.15pm - 10.10pm HKIA -> LCCT

Thank you once again for your help..

Dear Huizhi,

For the 香港丁丁旅游, sorry that I really can't comment if they're reliable or not, 'coz I haven't heard of this agency until Jennifer posted it on our page...

For the Macau Ferry ticket, I would suggest you to buy return tickets from Cotaijet, which operates in 2 terminals in both HK & Macau. You can choose to depart from Sheung Wan to Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then come back from Taipa to TST China Ferry Terminal. Please have a look at the "online booking" of their official website : http://202.82.66.153/cotaijet/pw/SaleTicket_V2.aspx?SailType=2&lang=E

Cheers~

Dear Huizhi,

Yes you can purchase from the Sheung Wan Ferry Terminal, but if you would like to secure best time of departure, it would be better to buy in advance...
