It looks well planned. Do you join a tour or book a private tour for the trip? If so, I guess they would plan it nice for you, not to worry ;)

Only if there are more activities for your day one it would be a lot better.

Still planning for day 1 activity but no idea where to go..

Unsure to book a private customised tour or just free & easy via public transport.

To bring along young children can be quite a hassle at times.

Hi mami rock, of course it will be a lot hassle if you are planning your trip on your own and travel on public transport with 3 kids. Are you from Singapore? Hong Kong is quite similar to Singapore so if you are living there, it would be no difficulties for you to travel around HK on MTR. The only problem is whether you would like to spend time and effort to plan your own itinerary (but we could give you some help here :) )

You won't get lost as long as you can find any MTR entrance and pop in one of them, then you can surely find your way back to hotel!  Unless you are going far to somewhere not accessible by MTR...
