Hi jimking, sorry for my late reply and thanks for your patience... kind of busy these days after my trip... :P

Day 1 (sun) flight reached around 1pm something .

-check-in Disneyland Hollywood Hotel

-avenue of stars

dunno still can go where sight ald...

I don't think it's a good idea to check in Disneyland hotel on your 1st day and then go out to downtown 'coz it's waste of time & transportation cost. I think your original itinerary is way better and if you manage to arrive earlier, you can slot in places in Day 1 rather than replacing it with Disneyland hotel. You can slot in Mongkok streets like Ladies Street, Fa Yuen Street, Sai Yeung Choi Street after checking in your hotel in Yau Ma Tei. Then go to Avenue of Stars before 8pm for the Symphony of Lights show if you're interested, if no then can just walk around Tsim Sha Tsui.

Day 2 (mon)

-Disneyland Park

-dunno eat for dinner n lunch

Swap it to Day 3. Lunch must be inside Disneyland 'coz no other choice around. Dinner can be at around your hotel, e.g. on Temple Street.

Day 3 (tues) stay at silka seaview hotel (this hotel ok ma?) will far from mtr ma?

-Golden Bauhinia Square

-wong tai sin temple

-Ngong Ping 360

-Giant Buddha

-Wisdom Path

-Citygate Outlet

Swap it to Day 2. Go check in at Disneyland hotel after finishing all the activities above, 'coz Disneyland is on the same island and plan like this can minimise your time & cost spent on transportation.

Day 4 (wed)

--Ocean Park

-the peak tram

-madamm tussaudds

-repulse bay

-stanley

Don't think you can finish Repulse Bay & Stanley on this day together with so many places. Basically Ocean Park would have spent you most of the day, adding in The Peak & Madame Tussauds is the maximum already... You can add in Mid-level escalator & Lan Kwai Fong after coming down from The Peak.

Day 5(thurs)

-flight is 15:10

You can walk around nearby hotel or have a long dim sum breakfast before heading to airport.

mide-level escalator, lan kwai fang, ladies street but how to put into my itinerary.... will i able make to macau?? cos got some ppl wanted go macau.. my trip half is senior but around age 55 like but can walk good... then all is young man... then no rain hor?

No, you don't have time for Macau 'coz it requires at least 1 whole day to cover most parts of Macau, unless you give up the whole Lantau trip, then you can consider go like this :

Day 1 - Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei

Day 2 - Ocean Park, The Peak, Madame Tussauds, Mid-Level Escalator, Lan Kwai Fong

Day 3 - Macau

Day 4 - Wong Tai Sin, Check in Disneyland hotel, Disneyland

Day 5 - Disneyland in morning if haven't finished on Day 4, Check out Disneyland, Airport

Since you didn't mention when your trip will be, can't tell how is the possibility to have rain or not....

It looks good and surely cheaper than buying on the spot. However, for the big bus tour, it seems that you don't have much time left for it?

I can't tell if the travel agency in HK is reliable or not 'coz have no experience dealing with them before... For the 2nd offer, I can't read it 'coz it shows "not found"...

Hi,

I don't think I can't don't check-in Disneyland because my family had booked the hotel. The earlier said they check-in Disney Hotel either 1st day or last day then the younger said prefer don't want put Disneyland at last day due to they may change their mind and need last min shopping. So do you have any recommend??

I will reach Hong Kong on 6th Nov till 10th Nov.. Some of my friends say 5days may not enough. My flight reach Hong Kong at 13:10 and depart at 10th Nov, 15:20....

As you said you've booked and cannot be changed, the only way is to stick to your original plan, but don't go out on 1st day, go to play in Disneyland on Day 1, then only go out to Tsim Sha Tsui on Day 2 after checking out at noon.

Depends on what you want for your trip, if purely for shopping, eating and some sightseeing, 5 days should be enough. But if you want Macau + 2 theme parks + staying 1 night inside Disneyland, and your flight back is departing in 3pm, then it is not enough unless you give up all the shopping 'coz the above 3 activities are occupying almost 3 whole days already.

Hi,

Will it be enough because I may roughly reach Disneyland Hotel at 2pm something? My ticket is 1day pass for Disneyland Park. If I go Ngong Ping 360 on Day 1, will make it or not? Is Yau Ma Tei very "chap"? Got any recommend Dim Sum nice). If Maxim's, I should refer which categories? Thank you.

Yeh, it'd be better to go to Ngong Ping 360 & Citygate after checking in Disneyland hotel if your ticket is 1 day pass... Then you can go shopping in the city like Tsim Sha Tsui, Mongkok, Jordan, Central, Causeway Bay...etc. on your Day 3.

No Yau Ma Tei is not "complicated" nor dangerous. Actually the whole HK is generally considered to be safe, just beware of pickpockets.

You can try Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum in Yau Ma Tei, but it's full of people and long queue all the time. Suggest you to try Maxim's & Tao Heung as their dim sum is as nice or even better, with spacious dining space & fair service. But I don't understand what did you mean by "which categories"?? Categories in my food blog or in their website (http://www.maxims.com.hk)? If you refer to their website, please find it under "Cantonese" cuisine.

So we had to aware of pick-pockets? If I go Golden Bauhinia, Ocean Park (left early as don't think so can play so many attraction since got old ppl), Repulse Bay (sit the Big Bus) then head to Avenue of Star. So I can go shopping at Tsim Sha Tsui, Mongkok, etc.... Regarding the foods at these area, I refer to your blog of food.

Day 4

Wong Tai Sin Temple, The Peak Tram, Sky Terrace, Madame Tussauds, Ma Mo Temple, Mid-Level Escalator, Lan Kwai Fong... Do u think can make it?

Sure! Being aware of pick-pockets is a basic rule for travellers to any countries. No one can guarantee there are 100% free of pick-pockets in one place, right? I just can tell there are cases happen in crowded places like street markets in Mongkok...etc. Not very serious but just remind you to take care of your belongings.

How early did you mean? Till 1 or 2pm? I think it will be quite rush or if you can't cover the whole park then it's kind of wasting the entrance fee... My mum just visited Ocean Park last weekend and she used the whole day till 5pm too. Ocean Park is not only with all exciting rides, but also quite a lot of attractions which are good for the young and elderly, e.g. zoo, aquarium, animal shows, cable car across the lower hill area & highland area...etc. I think it's better for you to check their official website for shows & attractions info and plan you trip in Ocean Park first, then only see if you still have time left for the Big Bus tour in Repulse Bay...

For Day 4, surely you can make it 'coz all of them are within the city. Can slot in some more if you like. I think if you got the whole day free then why not putting Repulse Bay on this day before going to The Peak?

i manage to extend one more day... so we cn make it to macau, right??

Yes.

Jim, you can refer this official Macau Tourism website and pick the places you wanna visit : http://www.macautourism.gov.mo/en/

Yes you can include Rickshaw Bus to tour around Hong Kong Island, you just need to manage the time according to the pace of every member in your group, 'coz it's hard for me to tell if it's definitely enough time or not as everyone's pace and interest is different... I can only tell if it's within downtown, it's easier to control timing.

Did you click on the "Local Transportation" link (http://www.macautourism.gov.mo/en/info/transport.php) in the website that I gave you? There are links of bus operator in that page and you can click on them to search the bus route. Please note that some attractions are not directly accessible by bus, e.g. St Paul Ruins - you have to walk from Senado Square. For Venetian, actually they have a very established free shuttle network and you don't need to take public transport...

Station means ferry terminal?? In this case it's better for you to arrive in Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal instead of Taipa Ferry Terminal.

so if we take ferry from TST then it will be Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal??? If we take the public transport at Macau, do we need to prepare exact changes...

No it is not. The arriving terminal depends on which ferry company you choose. If you choose Cotaijet, then it will be arriving at Taipa. If you want to depart from TST and arrive in Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal, you have to choose New World First Ferry. Please refer this FAQ section in the forum and click on the ferry company link to get more details on their operating ferry terminals.

Haha... of coz you need to tender exact fare or you can pay more but not less, I guess this is a global rule...

Basically your plan is ok, not much that I can comment on. Yes, all ferry operators for HK-Macau do offer such standby service.

Day 3, Wednesday

08:30 Depart from Seaview Hotel

08:40 Reach Kowloon Station

09:00 Reach Tsim Sha Tsui Station

am wondering why you have to go Kowloon station but not go directly from Yau Ma Tei station to Tsim Sha Tsui station??? You can always refer official MTR website to plan your journey : http://www.mtr.com.hk

10:00 Hong Kong Macau Ferry (1hour trip)

11:00 Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal (take Galaxy shuttle van or The Venetian)

11:30 Have lunch at Galaxy Casino, Taste of Asia

Day 4, Thursday

09:45 Admiralty MTR- Citybus Route 629

10:45 Ocean Park Theme

15:45 The Peak- Central Star Ferry Pier 7 Shuttle Bus No. 15C $ 4.20

16:45 Sky Terrace

Madam’s Tussaude

Seems Ok, just adjust your time if you need more time inside Ocean Park.

Day 5, Friday

11:45 Central Star Ferry Pier 7

12:10 Ocean

12:15 Aberdeen

12:30 Repulse Bay

12:40 Stanley Beach Road

12:50 Repulse Bay

13:00 Aberdeen

13:30 St. John Cathedral

13:45 Central Star Ferry Pier 7

14:30 Ten Thousand Buddha

Please review this day’s plan again ‘coz I believe you don’t need to visit Aberdeen & Repulse Bay twice in a day, and I don’t get what you mean by “Ocean”.

Just remind you that it will not be enough time to cover Aberdeen, Stanley & Repulse Bay in just half day of time especially you’ll be travelling with quite a large group of people. Ten Thousands Buddha is located in Shatin and involves about 20mins walk up hill from Shatin Railway Station, so I doubt there is enough time to reach before sunset if you were to go Aberdeen, Stanley & Repulse Bay on that day…

Here is my itinerary.... Have any recommend shop since we travel in 8 persons.... Please advise what kinda shop did you mean?
