I was slightly disappointed with this Double chocolate gateau from Tescos as it was a bit too rich because of the sickly sweet chocolate sauce in the middle.
It is best to remove the plastic when it is still frozen so that it won't be so messy when it is de-thawed.'
I love apple crumble especially with custard or cream.
The one at TESCO is slightly different because there are oats on the crumble.
Other than that the taste was fantastic, it wasn't too sweet and the pieces of apple were crisp.
I thought it was a joke when my friend told me there was a Tobasco burger at McDonalds.
Went to my nearest McDonalds and it was true, not only was there a burger but there was softserve with spicy fudge sauce and shake shake fries with spicy seasoning Tabasco sauce.

It was very spicy as expected but I liked it because it was punchy and the spiciness wasn't long lasting.
The only let down was that the fries were overdone, hard and dry otherwise it would have tasted much nicer.
Having tried DOLL Hello Kitty noodles and finding edible Hello Kitties inside, I decided to get the TRANSFORMERS one to see what edible Transformers would look like.
The flavour was also unique because this is the only tomato flavour that I know of in the DOLL series.

Well, I must say I was quite disappointed because you don't get any edible Transformers but you get a sticker.
The broth tasted like Weight watchers tomato sauce.
Was given a packet of Nissin Demae Ramen Bar Noodle Aka Tonkotsu Flavour Instant Noodle 出前一丁棒丁麵 from a friend.
Inside, there is a plastic tray which protects the noodle from breakage with two sachets of broth powder.
The instructions instruct you to boil the noodles and broth separately by adding the broth powder to the bowl.
The sachet of spicy sauce is added last.
I was quite impressed by these noodles because the broth was thick just like the broths you get at ramen joints.
I love trying new things so I was really excited about this Hokkaido ZomRamen because the noodles and broth are blue according to the Hong Kong distributor [Booth 1D-A30 by Red Gold HK 獨家食品香港總經銷] at the 2017 HKTDC Food exhibition.
Inside the pack, there is a sachet of liquid sauce, blue noodles and a leaflet.
It is interesting that the broth sachet is blue liquid and not the usual powder.
Anyway, to cook, you have to use 600ml of water which I thought was too much at first but then the noodles do absorb the water.
After they become soft, you add the blue concentrated broth liquid which I tried and it was evidently quite strong so it comes out right when added to the water.
With its unusual blue appearance it actually tastes like any other ramen.
There was a strong alkaline smell when I was cooking it but you can't taste it when you eat it.
I am so glad I tried Ricci's Bikkies Cinnamon sugar from the 2017 HKTDC Food exhibition distributed by Red Gold HK 獨家食品香港總經銷 at Booth 1D-A30.
I found them really addictive and delicious because I love cinnamon and sugar.
The texture is quite different because they are totally crispy which make them ideal served with icecream but now I want to try them with sweet hummus from the UK.
Recently discovered this Instant yoghurt drink called Yogur Train at the food expo because of the colorful packaging.
There are many flavours: original, banana, mango and cheese.
Frankly the cheese yoghurt sounds strange but then I haven't tried it.
I got the original which comes in a box of six sachets.
The instant yoghurt drinks are made by mixing 120ml of mix with one sachet of Yogur Train.
The milk normally comes in 2xx ml cartons so it was a bit troublesome to measure out half so I decided to mix a whole carton and a sachet which turned out really good and the sweetness was just right.

Having tried all three, I loved them because they are different and complex.
To summarize HRH sauce is gingery.
Berlin49 was actually quite complex, there was a BBQ smell when you opened the bottle but when you actually taste it, there is a spicy curry kick followed by a fiery smokey chili aftertaste that lingers shortly.
It was definitely good paired with meats, fried stuff that has a flour or some form of coating that needs something strong and punchy.
You always get a sachet of sauce inside Potnoodle so it is definitely legit to add sauce to it.
I decided to be #cheeky and purposely chose Cheeky Boy Sauces' BERLIN49 for Bombay Bad Boy which made the curry taste more intense because the sauce has a smokey curry taste to it.
The sachet of hot sauce they give you in the pot noodles are mega hot so I advise trying it before putting it in.

Tried Nissin Cup Noodles Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavour which is part of their luxury range launched for Cup Noodle’s 45th anniversary.
The Rich Abalone & Oyster Stew Flavour tasted like noodles in a rich Chinese oyster sauce but nicer and it had pieces of oyster mushrooms and black fungas.
The thing I didn't like was how oily my lips were after eating it and the broth became like gel when it cooled down.
Other flavours in this series are: Luxury Shark Fin cupnoodle and Softshell Turtle cupnoodle which were both really good.
When I got this Miso ginger cup noodle by Nissin, I didn't know it was supposed to boost your energy like those energy drinks until I googled it.
The taste was a bit disappointing because it was just the usual pork flavour with a hint of ginger.
As well as a restaurant foodie, I am addicted to cup noodles and instant noodles.
Came across these noodles by Taiwanese celebrity star ShuQi which are noodles tossed in sauce.
There are two flavours: Sichuan noodles or Scallion noodles.
Tried both and they were fantastic because you get quality noodles that are served in restaurants and not unhealthy typical instant noodles.
They are too easy to cook, boil until the desired softness and toss the noodles with the sauce provided and they are ready to eat.
Personally I preferred the scallion but the Sichuan one is quite spicy yet fragrant.
It is good how the chili seasoning is in a separate sachet.

Rolled Tortilla chips are the best invention because they are easier to eat and pop them into your mouth.
Discovered this donut latte at the convenience store so decided it try it even thought it is evidently latte with a squirt of Monins doughnut flavoured syrup.
I love black cherries so when Hartley's launched the NEW Black Cherry Jelly, I got my hands on some from the supermarket.
You make them in the normal way by adding boiling water and stirring it until it dissolves then refrigerating it.
The taste of this black cherry jelly was really good and the black cherry flavouring was not too artificial.
You either love or hate durian.
In my case, I love durian but they are big and difficult to open that I can never finish a whole one to myself.
Discovered these cute mini durians so I got one for fun.
It took a few days to ripe and it cracked open naturally so I opened it effortlessly.
Previously tried the Festive Bakewells by Mr Kipling and they were addictive so this time I got the Trifle bakewells.
I don't drink much alcohol but this Sparkling Jelly sake by Hakutsuru was really refreshing and goes down very easily because the fruity apple flavour is strong like Appetiser and there is jelly in it.
The alcohol content is around 3-5% and it comes in three flavours: apple, plum or peach.
Spotted some interesting rice bowls at KFC in Hong Kong where it is topped with minced pork and egg.
Tried Golden Land's coconut and durian biscuit sticks.
The coconut was lovely but the durian was a bit artificial.
To be honest, I think durian tastes the best straight from the shell!
I really liked this can of All Day Breakfast by Morrisons because there was black pudding inside it.
The baked beans were tasty too infused with a sausage and black pudding taste with a hint of herbs from the Cumberland sausage.
The interesting thing is that on the product description it doesn't mention Cumberland sausages but they are Cumberland in the Full product description.
Although it was a little bit too salty, the sausages and bacon egg bites were actually tasty and the texture was good compared to other brands I have tried.
In the can, I found, two pieces of black pudding, two sausages and some bacon bites which I can't remember how many were there.

Baked beans, Cumberland sausages, bacon with added water and egg bites and black pudding in tomato sauce.
To be honest the cheese taste was a little different to what I was expecting but it tasted like the rind of Brie cheese.
Anyway, I love Pot Noodles however I wish they could change the lid material from foil because it gets pierced easily.
The lid some how got pierced on the way home so I don't know if that would have affected the taste of the Cheese.

Got these Doll fried noodle seafood oyster sauce flavour with shrimp roe Instant noodle 公仔蝦子蠔油海鮮味炒麵 which had a bright yellow lid with holes for draining the water.
The ones I have seen before come in a square PFC box but I think the design of this one is better for draining water.
This flavour was quite unique because there was a sachet of dried prawn roe to mix it.
Step 3: add the sachets of dried prawn roe and oyster sauce
The taste of the noodles were a bit too sweet for my liking and also quite salty but a fun experience because you have to shake it.

I was surprised to see the toasties so decided to try it.
There was cheese, sweetcorn with mushroom or the Bacon, Macaroni and Cheese toastie.
The sweetcorn would probably taste sweet and weird so I went for the bacon one.
The whole thing was quite nice and not too cheesy because the cheese inside is the gooey processed cheese similar to squeezy cheese sauce.
The bacon was a little bit thick and hard but the macaroni was spring and al dente.
